Introduction to Jesus

As children continue to grow and become more social, around the age of 3 years old, we introduce the children to a special friend named Jesus.  As they get to know Jesus they learn that He is God’s son.  They also learn that Jesus lived on Earth and had 12 special friends that worked with Jesus.  As they children continue to grow they learn more about Jesus’ life and the special meaning it has including his birth, death, and coming back to life.  

Introducing children to Jesus is an important part of their spiritual development.  As children develop and grow and begin have friends, it’s important for them to know and understand the “bestest friend ever” in Jesus.  Jesus is always there for them when they are scared, happy, worried, sleeping, or awake.  The introduction to Jesus can lead to a relationship with Jesus that can last him or her a lifetime!
